Start with what you enjoy
Do you like gathering as you quest, making things for friends, or working toward one craft? Start there: a profession that fits your routine is easier to keep up than a plan built on a guess at profit.

A common pairing is one gathering profession and one crafting profession that uses its materials, such as Mining with Blacksmithing or Herbalism with Alchemy. Two gathering professions give you more to sell; two crafting professions mean buying most of what you use.

What’s new in Forever

• More than 600 new recipes across every skill range, and crafted food that also gives a little experience.
• Camping: from skill 20 every profession can place its own campsite object, like a Blacksmith’s Sharpening Wheel or an Herbalist’s Incense Candle, and dungeon bosses drop Blueprints for better ones. See how camping works.
• Two trade factions, the Azeroth Commerce Authority for the Alliance and Durotar Supply and Logistics for the Horde, are a major source of new profession activities.
• Legacy Points: every crafting profession you raise to 150, 225 and 300 earns one, and the Professions tree has perks like Bountiful Harvest, Master Chef and Luremaster.
