How to get bigger bags in WoW Forever

· By WowSeer

Every starting area in WoW Forever has a quest that gives you a 6-slot bag. There are more quests up to level 23 that give bags of 8, 10 and 12 slots, so you can fill all your bag slots without spending any gold. After that, you can fish them up, find them or craft them, all the way up to the 20-slot Bottomless Bag.

Your first bag

You can pick up all of these by level 4. Gnomes share Dun Morogh's quest, and Trolls share Durotar's:

In Goldshire, Marshal Dughan wants six Lost Books and a copy of "Fun with Elementals" back from Fargodeep Mine. You'll get his quest after the kobold quests that start in Northshire.

In Dolanaar, Aldia wants six Soft Nightsaber Pelts.

In Coldridge Valley, Grund Drokda sends you back to camp in the northwestern hills for Gozwin's Mechanic's Log. You'll also need to kill the Snow Leopard Prowler.

Near Brill, Deathguard Bartholomew gives you a basket to collect six Dry Branches for Eleanor Shackleton, who's camped in the hills to the west.

In Razor Hill, Furl Scornbrow in the watchtower wants eight Canvas Scraps from the humans and centaurs around Durotar.

On Red Cloud Mesa, Seer Graytongue gives you smoldering incense to take to the shrine of An'she and Mu'sha in the southeastern hills. It burns out in ten minutes, so go straight there.

In the Shen'dar Highlands, Indari Sunseam wants ten Prideclaw Pelts.

Drops and trunks

The 14-slot Troll-hide Bag drops from creatures in their 40s, and the 16-slot Traveler's Backpack from those in their 50s and up. They're rare drops but don't bind, so the Auction House is usually the easiest way to get one.

Fishing trunks can also have bags of 8 to 14 slots inside. Our Fishing guideHow Fishing works in WoW ForeverGuide · ProfessionsYou now need a campfire for uncommon and rare catches, including bloated fish that open into gems and jewelry. lists which trunk has which.

Crafted bags

Tailors can make bags from 6 up to 20 slots:

The three biggest bags now need dye, which Alchemists make. The Runecloth Bag uses Magenta Dye and Cerulean Dye, and the Mooncloth Bag uses those plus Viridian Dye. The Bottomless Bag needs eight Viridian Dye, along with five Pristine Hide and five Pristine Scale.
